Tonight I immersed myself in some classic Australian pop culture by watching Murielapos;s Wedding. I love Muriel so much, she is such a sad case but in the end she pulls through I love the ABBA music, I love the thick Aussie accents and I love how bittersweet it can be.

Most importantly, I see parts of myself in Muriel and her obsession with marriage. Trying on all the wedding dresses at the boutiques, playing I Do by ABBA as she walks down the aisle of her wedding. Her black sheep status and disfunctional family.

Beard Guy was a no show at work today, epic fail. I even worked an extra two hours just in case he came in.

Bel and I went to Cold Rock [another brilliant Aussie invention] for ice cream after work this evening. I had Milo flavoured ice cream with marshmallows and mms. We chatted about boys [Iapos;ve filled her in on my humiliating crush] and bitched about work. It was fun. I wish it couldapos;ve lasted longer.

Iapos;m dying for a sleep in, please let me sleep in tomorrow.
